We collect information you provide directly to us when you submit a form on this website — including the budget scoping tool, the newsletter subscription, the contact form, and the "Ask a Question" modal. This may include your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth (for newsletter subscribers), postal address (for project properties), and any details you choose to share about your renovation plans. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type, device, and pages visited, through standard server logs and analytics tools.
Information you share is used to respond to your enquiries, prepare proposals and budget estimates, schedule site visits, deliver the newsletter content you've opted into, maintain project records, invoice for services rendered, and improve the content and usability of this website. We may also use anonymized, aggregate data to understand trends in enquiries and to refine which services we describe publicly. We do not use your personal information to build profiles for automated decision-making.
This site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage and pixel tags) to remember your preferences, keep forms functional across sessions, and understand in aggregate how visitors use our pages. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect some functionality of the site but will not prevent you from submitting enquiries via our forms. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral retargeting.
Our Field Notes newsletter is sent only to subscribers who have explicitly opted in through the newsletter form and confirmed their consent by checking the agreement checkbox. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer, which is honored within 24 hours of being clicked. We never sell, rent, or trade our subscriber list. If you unsubscribe, we will retain your record only to ensure we do not accidentally re-add you, in accordance with data retention best practices.
We do not sell personal information under any circumstances. Limited data may be shared with trusted vendors who help us operate the studio and deliver services — for example scheduling tools, payment processors, email delivery providers, cloud storage, and engineering consultants — each operating under written confidentiality obligations and processing data only on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or valid government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Studio, our clients, or others.
We retain enquiry and project information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically the duration of an active engagement plus seven years for financial and contract record-keeping purposes. Newsletter subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe and request deletion. If you would like us to delete your information earlier, you may submit a request using the contact details below and we will respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable technical, organizational, and physical measures to protect the information you share with us from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. These measures include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls limiting internal visibility to staff who need it, regular password and access reviews, and secure deletion of records once retention periods expire. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time, and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@stylishlivingupgrades.info. We will verify your identity before acting on any request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Our services and this website are intended exclusively for adults seeking design, renovation, and related services for properties they own or are authorized to renovate. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us through a form, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information promptly.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting that signals to websites a preference against tracking. As there is currently no common industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal, this site does not currently alter its behavior when one is detected. We continue to monitor industry developments and may revise this position in the future.
If information is processed by tools, vendors, or service providers located outside your home region — for example cloud hosting or email delivery platforms — we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, including by relying on recognized legal transfer mechanisms where applicable and contracting only with vendors who commit to equivalent safeguards.
This website may contain links to external websites — such as social media platforms, supplier catalogs, or partner services — that we do not control. This privacy policy applies only to information collected on this site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit from our links, as their practices may differ from ours.
We may revise this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the services we offer. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of this site or continued subscription to our newsletter after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this privacy policy or the handling of your personal information, please contact us at contact@stylishlivingupgrades.info . We are committed to working with you to resolve any concern in a transparent and timely manner.
